Programs at Open Connections
Each OC program meets once a week. Most programs are full-day from 9:15 to 2:15 (or 4:00). Our after-program is from 2:30-4:00. Programs run from mid-September to early June (or, in a few instances, for just half a year) and cover a wide range of interests and formats. They serve young people from age four through high school.
Each program reflects the basic values of OC and is un-graded, partially-to-totally youth-directed and hands-on. Each is committed to inquisitiveness, innovation and collaboration.
There is also a series of ten-week programs for parents accompanied by their infant or toddler (called Early Connections).
