Emily Bergson-Shilcock


Program Coordinator for youth ages 13-14 and Facilitator

Emily Bergson-Shilcock is in her eleventh year as Lead Facilitator of the Tuesday Group Tutorial IV program.  Emily and Sue Wenger Co-Facilitate the Group Tutorial IV Program on Thursdays with a focus on math and science. Emily is an OC alumna.

Emily earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and later her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership. She gained five years’ experience working in college admissions as a Director of Enrollment Management at her alma mater, Arcadia University. She previously worked in the field of mental health as both an individual and family therapist. Emily returned to OC in 2005 and has since been facilitating.

Emily is the mother of three OC youth ranging in age from five to nine. Emily's interests include social psychology and the study of human behavior, reading, traveling, cooking, playing the violin, hiking and spending time with her family. She finds it particularly rewarding to facilitate the “middle school” age and enjoys sharing her interests in team building, statistics, and research methods.
