Emily Bergson-Shilcock

Emily Bergson-Shilcock facilitates the Tuesday Tutorial III program and the Thursday Pre-Open Program. She is a lifelong homeschooler and OC alumna.

Emily earned her undergraduate degree in psychology and later her M.Ed. in educational leadership. She gained five years’ experience working in college admissions as a Director of Enrollment Management at her alma mater, Arcadia University. She previously worked in the field of mental health as both an individual and family therapist. Emily returned to OC in 2005 and has since been facilitating.

Emily is the mother of Abigail (6), Connor (4) and Madeline (2), all of who attend OC.  Emily's interests include spending time with her husband and children, cooking, yoga and social psychology.  She finds it particularly rewarding to facilitate the “middle school” age and enjoys sharing her interests in team building, statistics, research methods and human behavior.
