Open Connections

PROSPECTIVE FAMILIES: Open Connections continues to be open, virtually. We recognize that springtime is often when prospective families tour the OC campus and come for an in-person interview. While our physical campus is closed for the time being, we ARE continuing to conduct interviews via Zoom or FaceTime. If you are considering enrollment for Fall 2020, we encourage you to take advantage of this option! To learn more about setting up a virtual interview, please click the "Inquire" link. We look forward to “meeting” you and showing you all that OC has to offer. Thank you for your interest in Open Connections! CURRENT FAMILIES: Please check your email for the kick-off schedule for distance learning!

Megan Marran

Megan is a Facilitator in Tuesday Group Tutorial I and the Wednesday and Thursday Open Programs. Megan's family has been part of the OC community since January 2010 and she joined the staff in 2012.

Megan grew up in Malvern, PA and after getting married in 2001 she and her husband Matthew moved to the small Eskimo village of Selawik, AK. While living in this remote village she frequently substituted for staff members at the local village school.  It was partially through this experience that she decided to look into alternative paths for educating her own children.

Megan is a Certified Veterinary Technician and, as such, has a passion for anything involving animals. Megan and her family live on a farm in Parkesburg. Their young people both attend OC.  The family has started traveling to Europe in the last few years and has been bitten by the travel bug.
