Sue Wenger


Sue facilitates in the Group Tutorial IV Program on Tuesdays and Leads the Shaping Your Life Program on Thursdays. Since 2005, she has been involved in the homeschooling community, first as a science tutor to several OC families and since 2010 as a math and science facilitator at OC.


Sue graduated from Princeton University with a B.A. in Biology and Colorado College with an M.A. in Secondary Science. She taught middle school and high school science in private and public schools in Massachusetts, Colorado, and Germany. Sue also completed a master's degree in Biology at Villanova University where she did molecular biology research.


Sue lives in Swarthmore, PA, with her husband Mark and young people -two in college and one still at home. Sue stays active by running, biking, swimming, hiking, and playing OC-style sports with the youth. Her favorite hobbies are collecting minerals, geology, birdwatching, and nature photography, all of which she particulary loves doing while traveling. Sue also serves in her church as an elder.
