Lisa HuisBoard Member
Lisa is member of the OC Board of Directors. She has previously facilitated various OC programs, including Group programs, several Choice and Shaping Your Life sessions and in the Open Program. She has been a part of the Open Connections family for two decades. Lisa has created many fabric- and pie crust-related projects on and off campus with collaborators of all ages.
Lisa attended Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA where she earned a double major in Psychology and Fine Arts. Lisa loves to be a connector of people and is currently working on the Committee of Trustees to strengthen the Board and ensure the future health of Open Connections. Open Connections has been a huge influence on the Huis family since 2000. All three of Lisa's youth attended OC from the Open Program through their teen years. She loves spending time with community members of all ages, both inside and outside of programming. When not on campus, Lisa can be found hiking, puzzling, baking, eating chocolate and marveling at nature, though not usually simultaneously. |
