Megan is a facilitator in Group 1 on Tuesday, the Open Program on Wednesday and Open Group on Thursday. Megan's family has been part of the OC community since January 2010 and she joined the staff in 2012.
Megan grew up in Malvern, PA and after getting married in 2001 she and her husband Matthew moved to the small Eskimo village of Selawik, AK. While living in this remote village she frequently substituted for staff members at the local village school. It was partially through this experience that she decided to look into alternative paths for educating her own children. Megan and her family, husband Matthew and young people, Hannah and Thomas, live on a farm in Parkesburg. Thomas attends OC, and Hannah has graduated from OC and is off to college! Megan has lived in 3 states (PA, AK, and CO twice) and together with her family has traveled to several European countries in the last few years. Megan is a Certified Veterinary Technician and has a passion for all things animal. |
